This resource is a must have for any contractor needing to make cost comparisons based on construction type, industry, location, etc. RS Means has always provided accurate data and a user-friendly way to access it.

As a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser with over 35 years experience I find the Means Square Foot Cost manual to itself be cost effective as well as the consistently most accurate of the cost manuals or services I have bought or subscribed to over the years. It's well worth the price IMO.

This book is great for estimation on project but is also an excellent tool for review quotes from contractors or if you work in local government and are reviewing a bid for construction of a new school or fire station.
