I generally don't write reviews. But I was compelled to do so as this is one of the best books on MEAN I have read.

I'm about halfway through this book so far, and although it presents useful information, it could have used careful proofreading by a native English speaker. It's full of basic grammatical errors and ambiguous terms that force the reader to re-read passages that should be easy to digest.

Chapitre 1 Introduction to MEANThis chapter begins with a brief introduction to the MEAN stack and is then a deep step by step guide on how to install and run MongoDB, NodeJS, NPM both on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. It's the perfect starting point for newcomers.
